About me
USER EXPERIENCE STRATEGIST AND ARCHITECT
Hi, I’m Elliott and welcome to Motive. I’m an experienced user experience (UX) strategist and architect with a passion and enthusiasm for delivering persuading, engaging and highly usable multi-channel digital experiences. I have been designing and delivering websites, intranets, web apps, mobile apps, desktop software, and telephone user interfaces (UI) in the public and private sectors for 24 years. I’m an advocate of User-Centred Design (UCD) principles and have applied this to waterfall and agile projects.
I’ve worked as a principal UX consultant for a large blue chip consultancy as well as held the post of UX Director for a UX design agency. I’m very inquisitive and love to get involved helping businesses shape their digital strategies. But I don’t stop there; I also enjoy leading teams and getting my hands dirty doing the user research, journeys, personas, information architecture, accessibility, UI design, wireframes, interaction design and user testing.
